The Dr. Harold Alpher Humanitarian Award is a prestigious honor presented to a graduating Resident or Fellow at the UT College of Medicine - Chattanooga who has demonstrated unwavering integrity, compassion, and commitment to community service throughout their residency. These are the same qualities that the late Dr. Harold Alpher was known for, and this award recognizes those who follow in his footsteps.
It is my pleasure to share with you that Connor Read, one of our own, has been nominated for this year's award. His dedication to patient care and his willingness to go above and beyond in serving his community make him an excellent candidate for this honor.
Connor embodies the spirit of the late Dr. Harold Alpher, and we are proud to have him represent us as a nominee for this prestigious award. On behalf of the entire UT Orthopaedic Surgery community, we extend our warmest congratulations to Connor and wish him all the best.
We are confident that Connor will continue to excel in his medical career and serve as an inspiration to future generations of physicians. Once again, congratulations Connor!
